Bonnie Krupa opens dog training business

Bonnie Krupa, a longtime Muncie dog training expert, recently opened Advanced Canine Techniques LLC to train dogs full time.

“Dog training is my passion and I wanted to pursue it full time to help owners develop a great relationship with their dog(s),” Krupa said in a press release.

Advanced Canine Techniques offers AKC STAR Puppy classes, adolescent manners level I and II, advanced manners, beginning and intermediate agility, rally, therapy dog classes and testing, canine good citizen classes and testing, tricks classes, scent classes and pet first aid classes. In addition, ACT offers private lessons and “Jump Start” day training and residential training programs.

Krupa is a certified professional dog trainer-knowledge assessed. In addition, she is a certified dog trainer through IACP, and certified kennel operator through the Pet Care Services Association. She is also a pet first aid instructor through Pet Tech International, therapy dog evaluator through Therapy Dog International and approved CGC evaluator through the American Kennel Club. She is a member of numerous training and behavior organizations and has been training for more than seven years in Muncie and the East Central Indiana region.

She is a graduate of Northern Michigan University and Ball State University and holds degrees in public relations and student affairs administration. She is a member of Women in Business Unlimited, having served on the board for two years. In addition she also serves on the board of directors for the Animal Rescue Fund.

She graduated from the Academy for Community Leadership and was the former manager and head trainer at Happy, Clean and Smart.
